The village is placed in the vicinity of a river called the River Terekol. IN & AROUND ARONDA
VENGURLA’S LIGHTHOUSE : Vengurla’s Lighthouse is situated on the hill region of Vengurla. It is at a distance of 17 km from Aronda. It is positioned 10 km into the sea and can be reached by walking into a narrow path with cut down steps. Atop from the hill one can have an enchanting view of the beach and shore.	FORT TIRACOL (TEREKHOL : Fort Terekhol lies on the banks of river Terekhol in the northern section of  Goa. The fortification was raised in the early 17th century by the sovereign of Sawantwadi Maharaja Khem Sawant Bhonsle. In the year 1764, the Portuguese viceroy Pedro Almeida restructured the fortress. In the later part of the century somewhere around 1788 the Fort Terekhol came under the jurisdiction of  Goa.
GANPATI TEMPLE REDI, GOA : Redi Ganpati Temple is positioned 8 km away from Aronda village. It is renowned for its rich manganese mines adjacent to the temple. In the year 1976 at the time of excavation the 15 feet sculpture of Lord Ganesh in seated position was revealed from the mine. During the festive season of Ganesh Chaturthi one can find a large number of devotees visiting here.	Arambol beach is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches and one of the famous tourist attractions in  Goa, bordering Keri Beach to the north and Mandrem Beach to the south. It is one of the clean beaches with long shore. Arambol Beach is positioned around 10 kms from Aronda village. It is also famous for the sweet water lagoon or lake that is located at the end of the adjacent beach i.e. Kalacha beach. It is accessible only on foot and its shallow waters are wonderfully calm to swim in. The sand here is also known to have healing properties.
Mochemad Beach is sited at Mochemad village in the vicinity of Vengurla. The beach is encapsulated by peaks and hills about 200 ft elevations. One can find Cyprus and Suru trees sprinkled across the beach giving it a stunning view.	Sargeshwar Beach is located 21 km away from Aronda. Sargeshwar Beach is very famous for the white sand and magical vegetation. Adjoining the Sargeshwar Beach is the temple of Sargeshwar, which receives many devotees.
The Querim beach is positioned around 10 kms from Aronda village. The beach comprises a long stretch of sand with a few rocky outcrops, rows of trees and a river inlet of Terekhol River.	Shiroda Beach is positioned around 9 km from Aronda village. It is said that the beach was a part of salt Satyagraha started by Gandhiji and the demonstration was to hold up the national movement.
